Set Your Halloween Table With Thrift Table Linen Items
Place mats, tablecloths, table runners, cloth napkins… these are often the best place to start when setting a Halloween table. Table linens can help set your color scheme or be a jumping off point for your overall spookiness factor. Look for solid color linens in Fall tones or purple, silver, gold even black. Or go for a nice Fall plaid or a bold stripe or check pattern. If you’re lucky you might even find some kitschy, vintage Halloween table linens, but these tend to go quickly, so you’ll want to make your thrift rounds frequently. And don’t forget Halloween-themed napkin rings if you’re using cloth napkins. They’ll just add to the fun.

If your Halloween gathering isn’t a big one, there’s no need for paper products when there are so many glass and ceramic options in tableware at thrift and consignment stores. You can score colored glass plates, solid-color ceramic plates or even Halloween-themed plates at these shops. Glassware, and you’re going to need glassware for all those spooky cocktail recipes that you’ll be making, is the same. Loads of colored glass is available, as are Halloween themed glasses and mugs. Serving pieces like cake stands, platters and bowls are also great buys at thrift and consignment and can really help to complete your Halloween table.
