Christmas decorations are flying off the shelves at my store. I guess everyone is in the decorating mode. The stock is depleted at my local home goods store and my local, big-box home improvement store. I am guessing you may be finding the same? So today I’m sharing with you some of the products I’ve ordered from Amazon for my home that I think are worth a look.

I used to highly dislike fake greens of any kind. I almost said hate here, but that word was disallowed by my Dad. Anyway, I digress. I really, really didn’t like fake greens. Then a couple of years ago, Bruce and were traveling during the first two weeks of December. We wanted to set up our home for Christmas before we left. But we really didn’t want to return home to a bunch of sticks and piles of needles. So fake greens became the option. I was pleasantly surprised by the increase in quality that’s happened over the last few years. And the realistic look was even better. We purchased a box of Hananona Pine Branches (50 pieces for $16.99) and Hananona Cedar Branches (40 pieces for $13.99). I am now on my third year of reusing them. The arrangement above is what I did this year with most of them, but I had enough to line a bowl and fill a small basket too.
For garlands I bought two, 6 foot Norfolk pine garlands for $19.99 each. My mantel and dining room table have both looked fabulous since. And all this with absolutely no piles of needles. It’s a win.
Battery Powered Tree Candles and Fire Cracker Lights
This year, we are trying something new for us. It reminds me of my German Grammy, and that’s why I’m loving it. We are adding Flameless LED taper candles to our Christmas tree. They’re battery-operated (AAA Batteries; 48 pack for $15.98) , come with branch clips and with a coupon we got a set of 30 for $31.99. A set of 20 is $22.39 with the online coupon. The other thing we are trying is firecracker lights. They’re small bulb LED tree lights that can be operated by a remote. You can use them indoors or outside. We got 66 feet of lights with 1000 LEDs for $29.99.
Decorating Ideas on Amazon Include A Ralph Lauren-Like Christmas
Everything Ralph Lauren is so hot this Christmas. From tartan, ribbon-topped trees, to tartan plaid bedding. One of the easiest ways to add a little of this look is with your wrapping paper. I found this 100 foot roll of reversible tartan wrap for $34.99 on Amazon. The gifts are going to look amazing under my tree with this little nod to the design icon.
