The bathroom and the kitchen are the most used (and sometimes abused) rooms in the house. A disorderly bathroom can cause you to be late for work or stress you out in all kinds of other ways. But you can organize your bathroom and decrease your stress with a few simple steps. Just consider…

Trays To House Oft-Used Items Will Decrease Your Stress
Trays. I say it all the time. They are the workhorse of design. Not only do they house a collection on your coffee table, but they can organize all types of things in your kitchen, your bedroom and even the bathroom. Place a tray on your sink counter to house those most used items and you won’t spend time searching for them in the morning. We have a dispenser with Q-tips, another Mason jar with our toothbrushes and toothpaste, a glass jar with mouthwash all on a tray at the sink. It keeps us organized and makes cleaning the surface easier too. For more on trays, check out my previous blog: Using Trays in Interior Design.

A Hamper For Dirty Clothes and Towels
If your washer and dryer are not already inyour bathroom, you need a hamper for your dirty clothes. There’s nothing worse than tripping over dirty clothes on your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Place a hamper inside your linen closet or next to your sink or shower. It will definitely decrease your stress.
Insider Tip: Stores like Consignments Ltd. are great resources for hampers and large baskets that can act as hampers. Check it out today.

A Shower Curtain That’s Easy To Change
Often-used bathrooms get dirty quickly. The shower curtain can be clean today and disgusting tomorrow. One way to organize your bathroom and decrease your stress is with a shower curtain that is easy to change and easy to clean. Enter the Hookless Shower Curtain. Not only does the liner snap out tor easy cleaning but it requires no hooks, so you’re not replacing it when the hooks tear the liner. This shower curtain with changable liner can be purchased with a plastic, disposable, snap-in liner or a cloth liner that is washable. And the whole thing can also be washed. That’s a de-stressing, organizational win in my book.

Easy Access to Cleaning Products and Paper Towels
Let’s face it, the bathroom requires pretty much constant cleaning. If you have to schlep your cleaning products in and out all the time, it gets to be a bit much. To organize your bathroom and decrease your stress, get yourself a cleaning products caddy. Use this organizer caddy to keep your cleaning products close and you’ll feel the stress just melt away.
And Now For A Little Music BeforeWe Go…
